In the Northern realm, tensions are quietly rising. The Guanyun Sect is gaining influence, while the seemingly powerful Yunxiu Pavilion is already in deep crisis. Its master, Yun Zhi, retreats for cultivation for a month without success—reality being that his immortal meridians have been poisoned by a hidden toxin, eroding both body and soul, and can only be barely suppressed by a millennium-old ice vessel. Forced by circumstances, Yunxiu Pavilion seeks help from Sect Master Li Guanchi. The two sides form an alliance to uncover the truth behind the poisoning. As the mastermind slowly emerges, the outcome of this power struggle remains uncertain.
