Zhou Yang and Wu Mei run a fruit shop. Wen Ning once saved Zhou’s father and later often supported their business, even giving them supermarket supply orders, improving their finances. When the couple plans to sell the shop due to debt, Wen Ning has her assistant take over. Unexpectedly, Wu Mei falsely accuses Wen Ning of using counterfeit money and keeps escalating the conflict. Meanwhile, the assistant discovers they have been supplying substandard goods, leading to the supermarket’s shutdown. Wen Ning stops tolerating them. By the time the couple learns her true identity, it is already too late for regret.
