The conflict between Buddhism and Taoism flares up again. The Taoist figure Zhunti hides the Six-Eared Macaque, triggering disputes over the Heavenly Dao. The Three Pure Ones plan to challenge the Western sect in order to resolve the confinement of Tongtian. The protagonist binds to a Heavenly Dao system and advances through cultivation and master-disciple bonds, gaining help from Taishang Laojun to awaken golden eyes and refine his origin power. Meanwhile, Maitreya is sent on a critical mission to the Sumeru Palace to rescue the Buddha in crisis. As various factions secretly maneuver, a mythic clash unfolds that reshapes the order of the Three Realms under karma and the laws of Heaven.
